Bulgaria's richest woman has emerged as a 56 per cent majority shareholder in the Bulgarian bank in which AIB had a major shareholding.
Tsvetelina Borislavova, owner of investment fund Clever Synergies Investment Fund (CSIF), bought AIB's 49 per cent share in Bulgarian American Credit Bank (BACB) for €100,000 earlier this year. AIB had paid €216 million for it in 2008.
