Setanta scoops Arsenal channel rights

Irish broadcaster Setanta Sports has signed a six-figure deal with Arsenal to be the exclusive broadcaster of the club’s Arsenal TV channel, which is due to be launched in December.

The channel will become the tenth available on Setanta’s satellite sports package.

The deal includes sponsorship and marketing rights, access to players, intellectual property including trademarks, and in-stadia media.
