Private bus firms will be able to use Dublin Bus fleet after auction

Private companies who secure routes currently operated by Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann as part of an upcoming auction will be entitled to use the semi-state company's fleet of buses.

The National Transport Authority (NTA) announced last week that one in ten of the services currently operated by the two CIE companies would be officially tendered on the open market in just over one year.
