Oakes to step down from Central Bank enforcement role

The Central Bank’s director of enforcement Peter Oakes is to step down to “pursue other interests”, the bank said in a statement this afternoon.

Central Bank deputy governor Matthew Elderfield thanked Oakes for his work and his “strong contribution to enforcement”.
