Novelty images for young and old

Charles Dwyer got an early start in business when, aged just 16, he helped his father set up an engraving company.

It is no surprise then, that, fresh out of college, the Cork man has set up his own business. Stooge, a digital imaging company, uses ‘green screen' technology to superimpose customers' images onto a wide variety of backgrounds.

Customers can appear in novelty photos as Superman or alongside celebrities. Dwyer and his business partner John Crotty got the idea for Stooge while Crotty was at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
