New UCD masters degree

UCD has announced a new 12-month full time masters degree in planning.

The Planning Policy and Practice course will commence in September.

The closing date for applications for the course is March 30.

Successful graduates will be accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute and Irish Planning Institute, allowing them to practise in Britain or Ireland.

The course focuses on legal, social, political and environmental planning as well as retail strategies for businesses.
