Irishman Conor Hillery, who was last week named as co-head of JP Morgan's investment banking business in Britain, said investor interest in Ireland is on the rise.

JP Morgan Cazenove provides services to 38 of the Ftse 100 companies. Hillery himself has worked on the restructuring of AIB and Anglo Irish Bank and is relatively upbeat about the prospects for the Irish banking sector.
