The last rhino has been killed in Mozambique's Limpopo National Park.

Rhinos have been pushed towards total extinction as poachers hunt them for their horns, which are mistakenly believed to have medicinal properties and sold on the black market.

The park's staff fear that poachers may now focus their attention on the region's critically-endangered elephant population.
