‘Google Maps for graveyards’ set to go live

Irish firm plots course for the future.

Plotbox, an Irish-made Google Maps for graveyards, will be fully operational in its first cemetery in a matter of weeks.

The system includes interactive maps which give a geographical overview of all plots in a cemetery, as well as photos and data related to each plot.

Deansgrange cemetery in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, which has used paper ledgers for 149 years, will be the first to use this service.
