Finavera is energised by $1m Seattle investment

Local green energy firm Finavera has invested $1 million in Seattle firm AquaEnergy, a renewable energy company that develops ocean energy or 'wave' technology.

The Irish company, which has an exclusive option to acquire 49 per cent of AquaEnergy, has signed the deal as part of preparations to float on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London this autumn.
