City of London bankers are still being paid extravagant bonuses - but the clamour for action is growing, writes Ben Griffiths in London.

Barely have the Christmas decorations come down in Britain and the issue of bankers' bonuses is once again a hot topic for debate in City dealing rooms, Westminster's corridors of power and dining rooms across the land.
