A Dublin architect who claimed more than €800,000 from her building society after her tracker mortgage was changed has lost her High Court appeal against the Financial Services Ombudsman's decision.

Angela Carr had complained about the EBS building society. In early 2008, Carr asked EBS for a 12-month switch to an interest-only mortgage after being made redundant from her job in a Dublin architectural firm.
