Beauty Flash Fresh Ampoule Vitamin C, €42, by Clarins
If vitamin C isn’t already part of your skincare routine, then the beginning of autumn is a great time to introduce this glow-boosting ingredient to your daily habits. Clarins has just brought out a face ampoule that is part of their Beauty Flash Cure trio, which contains a 15 per cent dose of ultra-concentrated pure vitamin C. Since it’s a notoriously unstable substance, the formulation is split into 10 per cent pure vitamin C in stabilised and isolated powder and 5 per cent of a highly concentrated vitamin C derivative in a water-based serum that is only mixed when applied, so you get a new, freshly activated vitamin C complex capable for extra effect.
Made from natural extracts of wild cherries and antioxidant Rose-myrtle, it can be used on its own to to kick-start skin or blended with a serum or moisturiser. €42, available at Clarins Boutique & Spa on Wicklow Street, Clarins stockists nationwide and on Clarins.ie
