Jean Paul Gaultier and Y/Project 2.0
Back for a second run, the Jean Paul Gaultier x Y/Project coupling is a partnership that just makes sense. The collection blends the trompe l'oeil effects (visual illusions) that debuted on the Y/Project’s runway last year, with Jean Paul Gaultier’s classic nautical stripes. There’s illusive skirts that look like jeans, tops that look like knitted ribbed jumpers, and dresses that look like separates. Basically, nothing is as it seems, and it would be very on brand if a piece were to mystically appear in our wardrobe – and we wouldn’t argue against it. jeanpaulgaultier.com
