Shop the luxury drop: Missoni’s beachwear edit, Staud’s tennis collection and luxed-up swimwear

Your guide to July’s most coveted luxury launches and collaborations

Italian luxury label Missoni has launched an exclusive beachwear capsule collection with fashion retailer Matches

Serves up

Los-Angeles fashion label Staud is hitting the courts this summer with a new sportswear collection that provides functional and chic tennis and pickleball attire – the latter being a sports craze similar to tennis that has re-emerged in recent years. Featuring tennis skirts, tank tops, dresses, T-shirts, and tote bags, the collection is preppy while still mantaining the brand’s west coast cool identity. The winner for us, though, is the label’s partnership with Keds to launch its ‘Court Shoe’ of the collection – which sees the classic trainer receive a sporty update. staud.clothing

The summer clog

Word on the street is that clogs are back, but we’d argue they never really left. An enduring style that trumps most summer footwear trends, the latest update of the style comes from a collaboration between Scandi fashion label Filippa K and the master crafters of clogs, Swedish Hasbeens. The partnership offers three colourways – black, tan, and snakeskin – while each style is made from chrome-free leather with a wooden sole cut from a single piece of basswood. And, the clogs feature a buckle strap that can be worn over the foot or at the back as a heel strap. filippa-k.com

The beachwear edit

Italian luxury label Missoni has ticked all the boxes of your beachwear list with its latest capsule collection exclusively for fashion retailer Matches. The 12 piece collection is a genderless assortment of swimwear, kaftans, dresses, and separates with the iconic Missoni zigzag motif reinvented in zingy, bold colours like fiery red and tangerine. matchesfashion.com

Ganni meets new talent

Scandi label Ganni is a frontrunner when it comes to compelling collaborations, and its latest drop is with Belgium-based designer and LVMH prize finalist Ester Manas. The 16-piece collection “celebrates fierce and joyful women” and is a size-inclusive offering that runs from EU32 to EU52. Comprising swimwear stamped with playful prints, slinky, ruched dresses, and relaxed jersey t-shirts, the collection represents both brands “designing for the confident and powerful woman” said Ditte Reffstrup, creative director of Ganni. ganni.com

Luxed-up swimwear

In the sustainable swimwear space, most people look to the Saint Louis label Summersalt. Since 2017, the brand has dreamed up the perfect offering of swimwear that excels on fit, durability, and comfort, and fans of the brand will be pleased to hear that it has partnered with Belgian fashion pioneer Diane Von Furstenberg. The seven-piece collection features wrap one-piece swimsuits, ruffled bikinis, and one-shoulder styles adorned with playful prints. Summersalt is notable for its size inclusivity, and each style runs from a size UK2 to UK22. summersalt.com
