Mother of invention: Cleo Prickett’s clothing designs are inspired by her dynamic mum
Since launching her label in 2018, the fashion designer has drawn inspiration from the fearless style of her mother, who began modelling at age 70
Daughters tend to be influenced by their mothers’ sense of style. For some, it’s a case of inevitability – the daughter becomes her mum in look, attitude and wardrobe. For others, it goes one further, as is the case for Irish fashion designer Cleo Prickett. Her mum Sue is more than an influence, she is her daughter’s muse.
