Here’s how the Irish Tatler Women of 2023 guests achieved perfect skin prep with Lancôme
Lancôme’s skincare specialist reveals the secrets to flawless skin on content creators and Irish Tatler Women of 2023 guests Aoife Walsh and Lorna Claire Weightman
Irish Tatler’s Women of 2023 were honoured in a glamorous gala event that took place on Saturday 11 November in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
Ahead of the celebrations, Lancôme welcomed a selection of guests into its Glam Suite in the Shelbourne to get ready. Skincare specialist Guzel McCormick was on hand to prime guests’ skin and achieve a flawless base alongside skincare specialist and pro makeup artist Amy McKnight. Seasoned makeup artists Danielle Brennan and Diana Oleinic followed suit to create iconic looks for the 13 guests.
The secret to each guest’s look was the targeted, specialist skincare preparation by McCormick and McKnight, with Lancôme's gold standard starting with the Advanced Génifique Light Pearl eye and lash serum.
This eye contour and lash serum, inspired by microbiome science, is formulated with caffeine and arginine to instantly depuff and cool eyes to minus three degrees, while its formula targets and reduces the appearance of puffiness, lines, and under-eye bags while strengthening and priming lashes.
Next up was Lancôme’s best-selling Advanced Génifique Serum. The result of 20 years of research and nine patents, this serum restores healthier, younger-looking skin and works to improve the skin’s radiance, firmness, fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.
Lancôme’s Absolue skincare range was in particular demand on the day too, as McCormick and McKnight reached for the Absolue Revitalising Eye Cream – infused with three rose extracts: Lancôme Rose, Centifolia Rose, Rose Damascena – to comfort and hydrate the eyes and reduce visible signs of ageing.
Meanwhile, the Absolue Soft Cream provided a creamy, lightweight texture that visibly brightened and firmed the skin before makeup application. To finish, guests were treated to the Nutrix Royal Body Cream, which is specially formulated to intensely nourish and restore skin.
