Eamon Delaney: Ireland should return to the Commonwealth

Last month, a group of people gathered at the residence of the Pakistani ambassador in Dublin to celebrate Commonwealth Day. There were ambassadors from Nigeria, Kenya, Malta and India. We even had the Canadian ambassador, who famously faced down an Islamic terrorist in the Canadian parliament. It was an absorbing gathering and felt very natural and compatible.
