Manufacturer of monoclonal antibody drug in talks with HSE for supply in Ireland

The manufacturer of a monoclonal antibody medicine recently approved by Europe’s medical watchdog has said it is in talks with the Health Service Executive for supply in Ireland.

A treatment developed by Regeneron, the US biotechnology firm, and Roche, the Swiss pharmaceutical giant, was one of two medicines which received the go-ahead earlier this month from the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
