Analysis: Case numbers high as vaccines for children approved and booster rollout slows
The amount of no shows for the third jab has increased as it is offered to younger age groups
Vaccines will soon be available to children after the National Immunisation Advisory Committee approved the Pfizer vaccine for 5 to 11 year olds.
Some 480,000 primary school children will be offered a vaccine, with the majority receiving their doses in January.
This comes as cases have risen dramatically in children in the past two weeks.
