Jess Kelly: Fact checking is critical for content creators

With so many people getting information from online sources such as TikTok, we need to ensure content creators aren’t misinforming audiences

This is an ode, of sorts, to content creators. I’ve realised over the last few months they make up a huge portion of my entertainment diet. From YouTube to TikTok, I watch a whole lot of stuff. Two quick facts before we proceed here; firstly, admitting to this does not mean I’m not smart enough to watch the news or a historical documentary, and secondly, not all content on online platforms is drivel.
