A-techSYN, a drone start-up based in the west of Ireland, has secured regulatory approval in Britain to fly its drones.

The start-up received the go ahead from the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority in September.

A-techSYN is building an electric vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone that can carry a payload of 55kg and fly for six hours. Its main drone is called the CGT50-VTOL.
