CRH reports impressive results against against multiple rising costs

Ireland’s biggest company, which is also the biggest supplier of asphalt in the United States, recorded a 25 per cent jump in earnings to $2 billion and a dividend rise of 4.5 per cent to 23c per share

Rising costs have been the bane of pretty much everyone plying their trade in building for months now and CRH, the world’s second-largest supplier of building materials is no exception.

Against a backdrop of rising raw materials, labour and especially energy costs over the last six months, CRH’s interim results for 2021 looked all the more impressive.
