The Machinery Movers Magazine Industry Awards, in association with Donaldson and RedMac, took place on December 1 at the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim with 650 guests in attendance.
This event has become the most widely anticipated annual event for the plant and machinery sector and an unparalleled industry celebration. The inimitable Hector Ó hEochagáin was master of ceremonies and his magnetic personality, infectious enthusiasm and boundless energy had the crowd on their feet and dancing in the aisles . . . with glow sticks!
The awards recognise excellence and reward the outstanding achievements of individuals and companies in the area of construction and quarry machinery. Industry leaders, innovators and visionaries from all over Ireland, Britain and the EU gathered to celebrate excellence inthe industry at an event that was truly the talk of the town.
Guests were greeted by Las Vegas showgirls and a festive mulled wine reception followed by a rousing performance by the Celtic Drummers. Hector captivated the audience with his warmth and charisma over a fabulous four course meal and the presentation of the 24 stunning bronze awards had guests on the edge of their seats.
The party continued into the early hours with live music from “All the Best”, bringing people together is precisely what Machinery Movers Magazine accomplishes, making connections within the construction industry and providing an opportunity for professionals to network at the most anticipated party of the year..
Brian Coogan, publisher and event organiser for CQMS, Ireland’s only construction and quarry machinery show and the Machinery Movers Magazine industry awards said: “The awards are an opportunity for us to formally acknowledge the excellent work being done by companies in our sector, highlighting skill, top quality workmanship and high-tech machinery.
