The US co-working space provider is reportedly in discussions with creditors to improve its balance sheet and could file for bankruptcy within the next week

WeWork could file for bankruptcy within a week, according to reports in the US.

The co-work space provider, which was once valued at $47 billion, has considered filing a chapter 11 bankruptcy petition in New Jersey in a bid to restructure the company’s debts, the Wall Street Journal has reported.

The petition could be filed as early as Tuesday, the newspaper suggested.
