Volumes decline at Dublin Port as inflation, war in Ukraine impact performance

Passenger numbers on ferries increased by 13.6 per cent

Volumes at Dublin Port declined by 3.6 per cent to end June as the war in Ukraine, global inflation and a slower than expected recovery in China dampened international and domestic demand, according to interim results from the semi-State.

Imports fell by -3.6 per cent to 10.8 million gross tonnes, while exports declined by -3.5 per cent, to 7.1 million gross tonnes.
