Troubled EML appoints ex-BoI executive Kevin Murphy as interim CEO

Kevin Murphy, former managing director of Bank of Ireland’s cards business, has been appointed as interim group chief executive of Australian fintech EML Payments.

Murphy, who has regulatory experience from dealing with the Central Bank, has replaced Emma Shand, who is leaving her roles as group managing director and chief executive with immediate effect.
