Threefold rise in losses at Wayflyer as revenues increase

Fintech, which recently announced a return to monthly profitability, recorded a pre-tax loss of €76.9m last year, up from €25m in 2021.

Pre-tax losses rose more than threefold at Wayflyer last year, newly filed accounts show.

The fintech, which recently confirmed a return to monthly profitability, posted a €76.9 million pre-tax loss for 2022, as against a €25 million loss a year earlier. Over the same period, revenues jumped to €36.4 million from €12.2 million.
