Smurfit Kappa, the Irish paper and packaging giant, has announced a multimillion-euro investment to double capacity at its facility in the south of Spain.

On Thursday, the Dublin-headquartered company said it will invest €54 million in its Ibi bag-In-box facility near Alicante, which will double capacity at the site and create an additional 200 jobs.
