Ryanair calls on EU Commission to stop disruption from French air traffic control strikes

The airline has launched a petition seeking to get one million signatures for protection for passengers during French air traffic control (ATC) strikes

Ryanair has launched a petition seeking one million signatures to call on the EU Commission to guarantee flights over France continue during ATC strikes there.

The airline wants minimum services laws enacted in order to keep skies open in France and for other European ATCs to manage flights over France during the strikes.

It has also sought that French ATC unions be mandated to engage in binding arbitration before strikes are called.
