Reddit co-founder backs fashion start-up led by Wicklow native in $9.5m fundraise

Syky, a next generation Web3 luxury fashion platform founded by Irish woman Alice Delahunt, has raised $9.5 million in a funding round led by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian’s Seven Seven Six venture capital fund.

Delahunt, a former top Ralph Lauren and Burberry executive, established Syky late last year.

The start-up is developing blockchain-enabled platform that intends to serve as an incubator, marketplace and social community for the next generation of fashion designers and consumers.
