PwC probes Peter McVerry Trust’s finances after ‘cashflow problems’

Father Peter McVerry has said delays in receiving payments from state funders caused financial problems this summer after the Department of Housing confirmed it was made aware of “potential financial issues” at the homeless charity.

An independent audit has been launched into financial and governance matters and will be conducted by PwC.
