Problem gambling requires firm action

Regulation is unlikely to meet strong resistance from the sector

Unlike many other sectors, regulation would not meet fierce resistance

After years of dawdling, 2020 should see robust regulation of the gambling sector laid down. There have been countless Dáil debates since the 2013 Gambling Control Bill passed committee scrutiny, but no firm action.
