Umar Kamani, the founder of fashion business PrettyLittleThing, has taken a more than 3 per cent stake in Boohoo, the fast-fashion company run by Offaly man John Lyttle.

Kamani is the son of Mahmud Kamani, who co-founded Boohoo in 2006 with Carol Kane.
