Personal finance: College costs can be daunting, so learn how to finance them
Many students struggle with living expenses, so it’s important to study the different ways to avoid the stress and focus on education
According to a Credit Union survey conducted in 2021, 40 per cent of third-level students struggled to afford living expenses. An astounding 88 per cent admitted to feeling worried about money, while a further 41 per cent said they found themselves stressed about finances “a lot of the time”.
That was in a year when annual inflation was at 2.36 per cent.
