Period renovation: Family friendly, functional, and classically beautiful by design

Wonky walls, pandemic delays and rising damp were just a few of the challenges that had to be overcome to turn around this handsome period residence in Booterstown, South Co Dublin

When we first visited our clients’ new home just before Christmas 2020, we instantly fell in love with its storybook charm. The double-fronted terraced house, built in the 1820s, had all the beautiful characteristics you would expect, but the interior design didn’t reflect our clients’ personality or function well for a young family of four.
