Pensions Authority raises ‘serious concerns’ with CIÉ over contact with staff

The semi-state transport company has been criticised by the pensions regulator for its contact in relation to one of the countries’ biggest pension funds

The Pensions Authority has criticised CIÉ over “inappropriate” contact it made with members of its pension fund, one of the largest such public funds of its kind.

In a letter, seen by the Business Post, the Pensions Authority criticised the semi-state transport company for communicating directly with the members, saying that it had “acted inappropriately and outside of its role”.
