Waste industry tycoon Eamon Waters has launched a High Court case against the Mercantile Group over a charge it is asserting on the premises that houses Dylan McGrath’s Fade Street Social restaurant.

The founder of Panda Waste, who sold his Beauparc Utilities group in 2021 for €1.4 billion, recently bought Defa Properties, the company that owns the Fade Street Social building, from McGrath as part of a deal worth €6.8 million.
