OpenAI confirms plans to open Dublin office

Company behind ChatGPT and Dall-E confirms Business Post report that it is establishing an Irish operation

OpenAI said it is providing access to its technology as well as mentorship to Patch, the accelerator programme for budding entrepreneurs run by Dogpatch Labs

OpenAI, the parent of ChatGPT, has confirmed a plan to open an office in Dublin, as first revealed by the Business Post earlier this week.

In a blog post published on Thursday, the company said it had been impressed by the strength of the state’s tech and start-up ecosystem and was ready to collaborate with companies, as well as the government to support its national Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy.
