‘Not correct’: Lottoland rebukes James Browne over gambling bill remarks

Lottoland, the Gibraltar-headquartered lottery betting firm, rebuked a junior minister over comments he made about new gambling regulations, claiming he had made incorrect assertions about the laws.

James Browne, minister of state at the Department of Justice, was contacted by the company in March after giving an interview to RTÉ Radio 1 related to the gambling regulation bill – which will impose strict new curbs on betting operators in Ireland.
