Much to please heart and home at Adam’s online auctions
Sparkle, shine and classic design are evident in the At Home and Jewellery Box sales, bidding for both of which ends next week
Adam’s is hosting two tempting online auctions this month. The first is the At Home sale where bidding closes on June 14. The 529-lot sale covers centuries of fine and decorative arts.
Remarkable on two fronts is Lot 79: an Irish silver bowl, dated Dublin circa 1724, with maker’s mark of David King. It has survived almost 300 years in one piece and showcases the skill and refinement for which Irish silver is renowned (€1,500-€2,500).
