Coimisiún na Meán, Ireland’s new media and internet regulator,  has announced plans to hire 120 people over the next year as the appointment of John Evans as the organisation’s new digital services commissioner was also confirmed.

The commission is rolling out a new recruitment campaign to hire director and managerial roles in a range of key areas to help it to deliver on its plans to enhance online safety, and to regulate the media sector.
