Marty Morrissey says ‘ad hoc’ Renault car arrangement was ‘an error of judgement’

Marty Morrissey, a sports presenter with RTÉ, says accepting the use of a car on loan under a long-lasting “ad hoc” arrangement with Renault was “an error of judgement”.
It comes after acting RTÉ Director General Adrian Lynch told the Oireachtas Media Committee that a staff member at the broadcaster had returned a vehicle this week after five years of use in an arrangement that had not been approved by RTÉ.
