Markets Wrap: Flutter, Cairn Homes and Glenveagh gains see ISEQ finish week up
The FTSE 100 closed at its highest level for four weeks as it was boosted by stronger housing and finance stocks, as well as a recovery in oil prices
The Irish Stock Exchange finished trading up on Friday at 8,222.77 up 1% on the day.
The IESQ’s gains were driven by increases in share prices in Cairn Homes (up 4.3% to €1.26); Glenveagh Property (up 3% to €1.04) and Flutter which was up 2% to €145 a share.
The market finished 1.5% up week on week and 15% up year to date.
