Lowry confirms €2.9 million tribunal legal costs battle is ‘finally resolved’
In 2018, the Tipperary TD won his appeal over a decision of the Moriarty Tribunal to award him only one-third of his legal costs of his participation in the tribunal
Independent TD Michael Lowry has confirmed his €2.9 million legal costs battle with the Moriarty Tribunal has “finally been resolved” after 26 years.
In a statement issued to the Business Post on Saturday, Lowry said he was “pleased to state that the long running issue in relation to the payment of costs amounting to €2.869,338.09 million arising from representation on my behalf before the Moriarty Tribunal, has finally been resolved.”
