Land Development Agency to build almost 400 Dublin apartments with cost-rental focus

Public consultation on the Bluebell Waterways scheme will begin today, with a planning application due to submitted by the end of 2024

Existing social homes on the site are set to be demolished to make way for the new apartment blocks

The Land Development Agency (LDA) and Dublin City Council have announced plans to build almost 400 apartments in blocks of up to nine storeys close to the Blackhorse stop on the Luas red line near Ballyfermot.

The 389 apartments will include one, two and three-bed units, along with studio apartments and services such as a creche, allotments and community spaces for social, arts and cultural uses.
