Ivana Bacik, the Labour leader, has called for an extra €1 billion of the corporation tax windfall to be spent on social and affordable housing.

She is also calling for a further €275 million to be spent in the budget to ensure that there is a monthly €200 cap on childcare fees for parents in next month’s budget.
