John Magnier doesn’t often get outbid for land in Tipperary — to the chagrin of many land owners in the county — but Irish construction magnate Maurice Regan has done just that.

Regan outbid Magnier’s €15 million offer for an enormous stately home by €3 million last month, the Business Post can reveal.
