Corre Energy, the Netherlands-based energy firm, has secured a global collaboration deal with Siemens Energy for the deployment of compressed air energy storage (CAES).

Corre - which is listed on the Irish stock exchange - has said that the deal deepens an already strong partnership between the two businesses, and enables Corre to accelerate its rollout of major global projects developed around CAES technology.
