Ireland’s biggest private landlord Ires Reit posts loss after property write-down

The firm lowered its dividend for the year after being hit by rising interest rates

Ires Reit, the country’s biggest private landlord, recorded a net loss of €12 million last year after writing down the value of several of its properties.

However, revenue at the company rose from €80 million in 2021 to €85 million last year, and the firm announced it will pay out a dividend of 2.91 cents per share for 2022.
